Clive Wearing, the man with the worst case of amnesia ever known, is forced to live entirely in the present. By some miracle, he remembers his wife, Deborah, and how to play beautiful melodies on the piano. But everything else escapes his memory in mere seconds.

It’s a strange case, indeed, but Wearing appears to remain as jolly as can be. Watch BBC’s video on the rare case of the man with no short-term memory.
